Hello! I have been playing both electric and acoustic guitar for the past 10 years. I've been studying music in college. I received a AA in Jazz performance from Mira Costa College, and a Bachelor's in Jazz Studies from SDSU. I love listening and playing all kinds of music, but I have a focus on Jazz, Rock, Blues, and Pop styles.
I teach students of all ages at any playing level whether you're just beginning or an advanced player. We can focus on many subjects that include music theory, scales, harmony, reading music, guitar technique, music history, improvisation, ear training, etc.
I love getting to help students reach their goals and advance as a musician. Playing guitar is my passion, and I enjoy being able to be a positive influence in someone else's journey.

Love love love Andrew he has a teachers heart and my 10 yr old loves him. Professional timely and informative.
Update to my first post... I've taken weekly lessons for six months and made tremendous progress. Andrew comes prepared to each lesson, challenges me and is encouraging as well. Andrew is an excellent teacher and I'm lucky to have found him.
First lesson was fun. Andrew tailors his lessons toward my music interests.
Andrew is passionate about music and guitar. He appreciates many styles of music from jazz to rock. He is well-spoken, friendly, and his enthusiasm gets students motivated! You will be very happy with him!!!
Andrew has tons of skills and plenty of theory knowledge to not only play others music but to create your own music. Also, he is an amazing section leader; the best.
Andrew was one of the most attentive guitar teachers my son has ever had. My son really responds to Andrew because he is warm, nice, and always has a smile on his face. My son has really taken a liking to Andrew.
Andrew not only kills it at guitar, he's extremely dedicated to the art and treats it with the professionalism it deserves. He's very personable and he's one of my favorite people to play music with!!!
