Excellent online teacher. Her communication skills are superb and her ability to break down the steps for playing the cello are very easy to comprehend and then apply. She is organized and responded very quickly to my pre-lesson questions. Great online lesson experience.

Our child has taken cello lessons but has not learned to "shift" or even what the word means. Amy's first lesson provided exact instructions, repeated until the knowledge was easy to bring back. Our child is extremely happy with what was taught and commented, "I really want to practice my music now that I can tell if I'm doing it right." Thank you, Amy! You are an amazing teacher! Patient, kind but funny as well! Thank you for always taking the encouraging route. Your positive energy is very catchy!

Fantastic teacher! Amy is able to say all the right words and break down the hard tasks into detailed but easy to follow instructions! Amazing teacher who leaves our child feeling confident and excited to try the new work.

Amy is a tremendously patient and wonderful teacher who engages her students in finding solutions. What an excellent quality as a teacher - it ensures the student is actively thinking of the problem and concentrates more on the solution (even if the technique is hard to master). She presents the material and works over it again and again to be sure the student is set for the weeks success. Amy also has the finest teaching quality in finding the good in the students work even when pointing out all the areas for improvement would be the easy route. Pointing out the good qualities makes these qualities much strong and gives a sense of pride to the student for their hours of work.

Amy is very personable and friendly. She does a great job working with my teenaged daughter, and she has been incredibly patient. I definitely recommend her!

My daughter enjoyed her lesson with Amy. She was so understanding and helped my daughter regain confidence in her cello playing even though she had not played in 2 years.
