I recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Commercial Music Composition and an instrumental focus in vocal studies. I have extensive knowledge of music theory and sight reading/singing, as well as a deep understanding of safe vocal techniques for all genres (classical, opera, musical theatre, pop, country, R&B, etc.) I also have experience performing with the Delray Beach Chorale and the Palm Beach Symphony. I have studied singing in a variety of languages (English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Czech, Russian, Irish Gaelic, etc.) and teach diction/ IPA to be able to sing different languages even if you don’t know how to speak them. Before going to FAU, I also spent 11 years studying classical piano and 7 years studying guitar. I have been teaching for 5 years and I have taught people of from ages 5-30. This experience has allowed me how to tailor my lessons to the needs of each specific student based on level, interest, and goals. I have learned several different teaching methods to keep students engaged and having fun while still learning new skills.
