Cello with Amber S.

I've been in Rockwall ISD's orchestra program for seven years and have studied for two and a half of those years with a retired cello professor.I have some experience teaching with my younger brother and my cousin, but have not yet given lessons to others although I am excited to do so. As a student myself, I can help beginner and intermediate cello students advance to a higher level of playing. I will focus a lot on basic form, posture, and balance as I see many young cellists struggle with these things, and then when their playing is at a level where I can no longer do much besides practice with them, I will recommend another teacher who can help them develop further. If you are looking for someone who will sit and practice with the student and help them learn music, although it would not do much to help them, I am happy to do that as well. Recently I also have added Spanish as one of my subjects. I took Spanish classes at Rockwall High School and went up through Spanish 4 at the International Baccalaureate level, earning a 6 on the final IB exam. Spanish is a useful and interesting language to have, especially here in Texas. I look forward to teaching you/ your student :)
