Hello Actors and Actresses! A little about me, I am an actress and acting coach. I've taught on takelessons since 2018 but took a hiatus as I successfully moved from Maryland to Los Angeles! I have acted in theatre, commercials, film and network TV. I am passionate about teaching new actors techniques on how to get into character, character breakdown, on camera work vs. theatre and empowering them so that they are confident enough to perform to their best ability. Each lesson plan will be customized to the student's age and what the student needs to get to the next level in their acting career. Some examples of what we would go over are: -where to find work -how to submit yourself for a role -monologues (how to find the best one for you) -given circumstances -acting exercises -headshots & resumes -improv (and why it's so important) -breathing and meditation (this makes a HUGE difference) My specialty is to teach acting methods within tv/film. My passion is to make sure you are confident and prepared in the auditioning room, on camera and with other actors/ production crew that you will be working with. I look forward to meeting you and making you a better actor! My most recent work includes my leading role in the indie film, The Runaways, which has been selected to screen at The Roxbury International Film Festival 2019 in Boston. You can find Season 1 &2 of The C-Word, a web series I helped produce and was featured in, that caught the attention of Good Morning Washington and screened at Web Fest 2018 in Harlem, NY. I was the lead in TVOne's For My Man, the face for the online ad campaign Territory Foods and Maryland Lottery. I have starred in several theatre productions in Washington, DC and Virginia, one of the productions being in DC's Capital Fringe Fest 18. Right now I am happy to say that I am officially an LA based working actress!
