Hello! My name is Allison Landon and I am a bachelors of music graduate with focus in jazz vocal studies from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I have been professionally trained vocally, both classical and jazz, for 15 years, and have also had professional piano training for 11 years. My expertise vocally, ranges from the pedagogy of singing, breathing techniques, classical singing (arias, operas), all the way to broadway musicals, jazz standards, and scatting (vocal improv). My expertise in piano ranges from beginner to advanced (both classical and jazz) and jazz improvisation. With both my vocal students and piano students it is important that I introduce music theory, ear training and sight-reading into the lessons, to strengthen my students musical knowledge and abilities. I offer lessons to both piano and vocal students of all abilities ranging from none to little experience and advanced skills.
