Bassoon with Alicia F.

Alicia Hansen Falconbury is from Boise, ID. She began studying the bassoon in 2005 with AnnaClaire Ayoub in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She continued her studies throughout high school with Janelle Oberbillig in Boise, Idaho and was a two-time Idaho State Solo winner on bassoon. In college, she has studied bassoon with Dr. George Adams, Amanda Moreton, Jessi Vandagriff, and Elizabeth Crawford and music composition with Dr.  Darrell Brown and Jay Richards. Alicia earned her Bachelor of Musical Arts degree with an emphasis in composition in 2017 and recently completed her third season as assistant principal bassoon with the Idaho Falls Symphony. Alicia's compositions have been performed in Pennsylvania, Idaho, and Nevada, where Alicia most recently traveled to Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas as a guest composer.  She currently resides in Rexburg, Idaho with her husband and daughter.
