Flute with Alicia B.

I'm a professional flutist in the northern Colorado area. I recently graduated with a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Northern Colorado (2017). I earned my Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance at Central Washington University (2015) in the heart of my home state. At both universities, I performed as Principal flutist in the top ensembles, including orchestras and wind ensembles, and was regularly featured on piccolo in each ensemble. I work with flute students of all ages and abilities with a variety of musical goals. My experience, flexibility, and years of formal training enable me to make lessons fun and interesting, but also efficient. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment where students feel empowered to discover and explore their art, inner expression, and potential. In addition to being an enthusiastic private flute instructor, I enjoy performing both flute and piccolo in chamber ensembles and orchestras throughout the region. My passions besides flute include yoga, dance, art, and writing.
