Filmmaking with Alexander W.

I am a professional editor, currently attaining a degree at the Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Ever since I created my own film production company 5 years ago, I have been working as an editor, color corrector, sound engineer, and special effects designer for several short films, feature-length work, trailers, reels, and more. My work has shown at Tribeca in New York, the Laemmle Theatre in Los Angeles, the River Town and New Hope Film Festivals, and more. My versatility in editing ranges from advanced work in Adobe Premiere Pro, to After Effects, Audition, and Da Vinci Color Correction—along with several other Adobe Creative Suite programs. I have a passion for filmmaking and the creative process and love to spread this interest through teaching. Especially in today’s age of technology in filmmaking, I believe the personal creative touch of an editor’s imagination is critical. I am dedicated to teaching my students editing techniques, the workflow of the programs, and how to craft a film.
