I'm very passionate about music and about passing on this skill to others!  What I bring to the table is versatile teaching.  I learned piano by ear, but I've also had university training.  I'm a classical pianist, but I've also played jazz, pop, musical theater, and worship music extensively.  I primarily perform, but I can also teach you how to compose, improvise, and arrange.  In other words, no matter what your goal is on the piano, I can help you get there!

Hello!  My name is Alex Wood, and I'm a music student at Azusa Pacific University.  I'm a junior Piano Performance major, and my goal is to go on to get a doctorate, perform classical music, and teach at a university.  I've been teaching music lessons since 2015, and I've taught private lessons, music classes, and theory lessons.  I've worked with kids of a variety of ages, and I can also work with adults and people with special needs.  I'm extremely passionate about the beauty of music, and I consider it a privilege to pass on this skill to others!
