Hi, there! My name is Alex and I can't wait to teach you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2004 and have loved helping my students get comfortable behind the drums, understand rhythm, and start performing. I went to Webster University and the Los Angeles College of Music and earned a degree in Drum Performance 2012. I believe that playing drums should be accessible to everyone and I always seek to teach with that in mind. I promise, anyone can learn to play drums! I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

I've been fortunate enough to know Alex for a while. I have been in a few bands in my day (not as a drummer) and, I must say, Alex is my favorite drummer I've worked with. He has also helped me along with developing skills with a drum kit both, in person and online, and I'm better for it. Now, still working at it, I'm doing my own drum work for original tunes and really enjoying the process. I keep going back to Alex for help, especially footwork. I must also say, $25/30 minutes and $45/hour is a STEAL to work with Alex.
