Trumpet with Alex D.

I am a band director with 10+ years experience working with students from grades 6-12. I have a master's degree in music education, and my primary instrument is trumpet. I am a paid trumpet player in my church orchestra, and regularly gig throughout my area. As a band director, I typically teach 30-40 beginning trumpet players per year in a trumpet only class, making me very knowledgeable of the many intricacies of starting correctly. I have also been teaching private trumpet lessons for over a decade, and my students are regularly accepted into all region and all state ensembles. Many have also gone on to receive college scholarships based on their playing. I look forward to working with you to develop your skills as a trumpet player and your love of making music!
