    Hello! Alessandra here, and I am looking forward to teaching you. Having 10 years teaching experience, you could say that education is my forte (as is music). While my degrees are in music, I have also taught theater arts and tutored core subjects. Having taught in both the United States, Australia and now in Europe, I use the best of all systems in my teachings. I am experienced, flexible and organized. My favorite part about teaching is seeing my students succeed and how they apply what they learn in our lessons to other aspects of their life. I look forward to meeting you!

    Alessandra is one of the most empathetic and patient people I know, qualities many teachers waver on. Additionally, she has great experience both teaching and preforming. She is a very well-rounded person that inspires her students and makes them feel at home. I would strongly recommend her to anyone!

    Alessandra has helped develop and strengthen my love and passion for the flute. She has extended my knowledge and ability which has encouraged me to pursue a career in music.     Alessandra is a very patient and a lovely teacher, who understands her students' learning styles and needs, and customises their lessons accordingly. I am very grateful for having had her as my flute teacher (coming from a background with zero knowledge of music). I would definitely recommend her for a teacher. I can assure that you can't go wrong in choosing her as your music teacher. :)

    Begun in 1920 as the Texas Band Teachers Association, the Texas Music Educators Association is an organization of over 10,000 school music educators dedicated to promoting excellence in music education. TMEA is comprised of five divisions: Band, Orchestra, Vocal, Elementary and College. On behalf of its members and Texas schoolchildren, TMEA carefully monitors the actions of all state decision-making bodies on issues affecting fine arts instruction in Texas. In addition to many member benefits, TMEA offers professional development opportunities for its members with Region workshops and especially with its annual Clinic/Convention. TMEA supports the future of music education by offering scholarships to music education majors and by sponsoring the Texas Future Music Educators, an organization through which high school students interested in careers in music education learn more about what to expect in their college education and future careers.

Approximately 5,000 members from more than 50 countries join together in person, online, at conventions, informally and in forums, through publications and classrooms, in performance, in friendship and collegiality. Guided by its goals to encourage a higher standard of artistic excellence for the flute, its performers, and its literature, members include leading soloists, orchestral players, jazz and world music performers, teachers, adult amateurs, and students of all ages.
