I teach sectionals, brass fundamentals classes, and private lessons to the brass students at Pendleton Heights Middle School. My goal is to help the students make healthy, informed musical decisions and foster lifelong habits in appreciating and expressing music in a positive way.

I served as the low brass music instructor, and assisted with large ensemble music, visual, and marching instruction.

I perform as the lead trumpet player for the award-winning Norwell HS Show Choirs. I work with their professional band members, instructors, and the students to create high-caliber shows for entertainment, education, and local and national competitions.

Music for the Sake of Music

MFSOM's goal is to provide NE Wisconsin with diverse opportunities for the creation and enjoyment of music at a high level. I teach a studio of beginning through advanced musicians how to further develop their craft, interests, and endeavors through music. I work with the staff, students, and volunteers not only to enrich the musical experiences of the applicants, but to give back to the community through music and music performances.

Indianapolis Youth Wind Symphony

I provided my talents to support the students and community members of the Indianapolis Youth Wind Symphony during their rehearsals and performances throughout the year.

Strings and Jazzy Things

Teaching classical and jazz repertoire and improvisation techniques to students and mentoring them on how to become better musicians and better people. We teach students how to work with others, manage and develop life skills, and develop personal responsibility.

My responsibilities include personal marketing strategies, maintaining a website, and practicing and performing my craft on a regular basis. I also work one-on-one and in small group settings with musicians to help them further develop and refine their skills.

The International Trumpet Guild is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 to promote communications among trumpet players around the world and to improve the artistic level of performance, teaching, and literature associated with the trumpet.

The National Band Association, founded on September 11, 1960, is the largest professional organization for bands in the world. It was organized for the purpose of promoting the musical and educational significance of bands and is dedicated to the attainment of a high level of excellence for bands and band music. NBA is an organization open to anyone and everyone interested in bands, regardless of the length of experience, type of position held, or the specific level at which one works. The membership roster includes men and women from every facet of the band world. NBA is today’s professional organization for band directors, and it stands ready to serve all members of the association through a variety of projects and initiatives.
