Hi All, I'm Alec and I teach guitar lessons from my home in the Columbus area. I've been playing music since I was seven years old, starting on classical piano and migrating to guitar. Guitar is one the easiest instruments to pick up and begin playing, and I try to teach my students in a way that gets them strumming as soon as possible. At all levels, there is something I can teach you. The backbone of my playing style is the blues, which branches over to almost every genre of music you might desire to play. Any music theory you learn will be at your own discretion, because the last thing I want to do is bore you to death.
