Guitar with Aldo M.

Hello prospective students, My name is Aldo. I am a student at California State University Long Beach and have been teaching guitar for a little over a year. The goals for my students are pretty simple. First we identify some goals that you want to aim for. That could include improving technique, learning a certain song, or writing your own music! Whatever your guitar goals are, I am here to push, and encourage you to get them. You want to have killer solos? I can show you that. You want to learn some theory? I can show you that. You want to expand your arsenal of licks and chords? I can show you that. You want to write better songs or learn to play with others? I can show you that too. Along the way I will expose students to new ideas, techniques, and new music to make you into a well-rounded musician. I keep detailed records on progress made and achieved for each student so that each lesson has quantifiable results. I have been playing guitar for well over 10 years and can say that it is not just a hobby but my passion. I have performed at venues such as The Viper Room as a solo artist and with bands. I hope to instill in my students not just quantifiable results in your guitar playing, but a better understanding of why you are drawn to music, what makes you want to play, and your creative abilities.
