I serve on faculty at the University of Central Missouri as Instructor of Saxophone. I am a Conn-Selmer endorsing artist. I have been teaching all ages and levels of saxophone for 8 years. I hold music performance degrees from the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music (Bachelors), UK, and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (Masters). I am currently completing my Doctorate in Music Performance at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
Weekly saxophone classes developing fundamental technique, musicianship and ensemble competition preparation.
Teaching supplemental lessons to undergraduate and graduate students, including open studio classes and chamber music coachings.
Maintaining a studio of clarinet, saxophone and music theory students from ages 8-39.
Supplemental weekly lessons to high school and undergraduate students, including occasional master classes, chamber music coachings and community outreach.
Maintaining a private studio of clarinet and saxophone students ages 8-11. National exam preparation, performance and competition preparation, chamber music coaching and wind band directing. Aural skills and theory also taught.
Certification in preparation for and assessment of ABRSM music medal exams.
The North American Saxophone Alliance is an organization made up of individuals who share a common interest in the saxophone. Members include professional performers, university professors, public school teachers, students of all levels, and others who have an interest in the saxophone.
