I'm here to empower you to sing with your authentic artistry and optimum voice. Want to really learn how to sing? Glad you came here, rather than trying to fix your voice alone watching coaches on Youtube. Styles I teach: classical / opera, legit musical theater, pop, folk and sacred music. As a holistic Bel Canto opera teacher with 25 years of international performing and teaching experience, each student gets my full support and commitment. I work with beginners to seasoned professionals. And, I'm looking forward to meeting you! In lessons, you'll discover how your voice really works. You'll be learning fundamentals of the Italian Bel Canto traditions, and my powerfully effective holistic and healing vocal methods. In sessions, you'll learn how to breathe, sing and perform with greater skill, confidence and ease, Many singers issues are caused by use of wrong muscles, tensions and stress. Our body is our instrument! In my sessions, you'll learn how to quickly tap into where you are blocked and tense. You'll learn relaxing, simple to do, specially designed, gentle exercises to re-condition tense muscles and enter into "the zone" more quickly. I teach each singer according to their unique voice and talent. Every lesson builds on developing the breathing system, vocal range, stamina, vocal tone, and mental focus! You'll also be expanding on your dramatic and performing skills. My teaching style is creative and supportive. As an expert musical stylist and vocal clinician, I make sure that lessons include learning effective vocal study habits, diction, and musical skills. We'll work collaboratively choosing songs and arias that you're happy doing and that make you shine. If you have sudden or ongoing vocal problems, you're in luck -- as one of my specialty is helping singers recover from vocal problems or damage. Professional Opera background: As a mezzo-soprano opera soloist and sacred music singer, I've performed on concert stages, opera houses and recording studios in repertoire spanning opera, musical theater, folk, world and sacred music. I believe great music has the power to heal and uplift us, and that singing is the fastest road to joy.

Ahdda has been a hugely positive and empowering force in my life. When I started working with Ahdda I was absolutely uncomfortable and unfamiliar with using my voice in a singing context. Through her coaching she has helped me build my confidence and embodied awareness for how I can use my voice for singing, as well as proving amazing coaching for speaking, which is my full time career. I just spoke for over 1,000 people throughout the weekend and Ahddas coaching gave me the guidance and support to be set up to speak and express in the best possible way. Ahdda is an extremely attuned and talented teacher, aware of the weave between the technical and spiritual sides of singing, and I can not recommend her highly enough. Thank you Ahdda!

Ahdda has worked with my daughter for two years, and is an outstanding teacher. Ahdda focuses not only on how singing should sound, but on how your body should feel and what it should be doing when you sing. She explains this clearly, and the techniques she teaches result in a beautiful sound while ensuring that the singer's voice will remain healthy.
