I have been teaching piano to children and adults for over 24 years. I have degrees in piano performance and K-12 music education. In order to continue developing as an independent music teacher, I attend workshops and conventions, participate in local music associations, and continually work to improve my own musicianship. I feel that doing these things help keep my teaching fresh and inspired.

Since 1970, The International Horn Society (IHS) has been an organization of people from around the world drawn together with a mutual interest in the horn. We are dedicated to the performance, teaching, composition, research, preservation, and promotion of the horn as a musical instrument.

Our primary function is to establish definite goals and awards--in noncompetitive auditions--for students of all levels, from the earliest beginner to the gifted prodigy.
