"The Band Approach":
I'll just come out the tell you the single most important piece of musical advice I ever heard: "Play with as many different musicians as possible."
Whether you want to perform professionally or you just want a fun hobby learning your favorite songs, my lessons are built on "The Band Approach." This system involves customizing lessons to show you what happens in the real world and when you may encounter a gig audition, school/college entrance test, an open mic night, or just friends & family who notice an instrument in your house and want to hear you play! I can use your favorite songs to show you proper technique rather than studying material out of a boring scale book or using useless exercises.
When I first started learning, I had to use VHS tapes and a crappy computer running Windows ME. Today, I incorporate new media such as YouTube, an iPhone, and music lesson applications into the lesson room.
I'm very beginner friendly and have taught about 150 people starting out on their instrument. Intermediate and Advanced students can expect to gain skills that may have been "looked" over and find new ways to better their playing.
I also teach entry level DJing and Music Production.

Rosemarie's lessons
Adam is an excellent teacher. He is very patient with my 7 year old daughter. He explains things very well and makes sure she understands what she needs to practice. I am so glad that he is teaching guitar lessons. Hopefully Rosemarie will be ready to learn more after her softball season and Brownies is over in June. Adam thanks for everything you taught her.

Great Teacher
Adam took time to evaluate my skill level in the first lesson and tailored my following lessons based on his assessment. He has exposed me to many aspects of the guitar in simple, understandable language and has been very encouraging in monitoring my progress. I recommend Adam highly.
