Guitar with Abigail G.

Hi guys! My name is Abigail and I've been playing Classical guitar since 2007. I specialize in Classical and fingerstyle acoustic guitar. I love music and received a BM in Classical guitar performance at University of Denver where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I am interested in the music of Classical Spain and French Renaissance guitar music, but I also love American Jazz and Pop. I am dedicated to making each lesson tailored to the student's needs and interests, whatever they may be, including special needs. I believe in building a strong foundation in theory and technique. Having this foundation will make your other skills easier in the long run. There are so many approaches to teaching and learning guitar and I know there is one that is right for every student. I want each lesson to be fun, but you will also have to work. Don't be afraid to try it out. It can be difficult, but overcoming these obstacles will teach you many life lessons, and learning an instrument is very meaningful in your personal life and the lives of those around you.
