If you’re interested in learning photography – congratulations! Photography is a fun, practical hobby as well as an exciting career. Although learning photography does take a little patience, the rewards are certainly worth it. So, let’s start with the benefits of why you should learn photography.

- The ability to record special events like a child’s birthday, graduation or the family’s vacations with clear, focused well composed photographs.

- Never missing a picture of a special moment because you were searching for the right button or dial.

- Taking photos that you and your loved ones will enjoy displaying on your wall. By capturing your special memories in pictures, you can have a way to document and pass on these memories to future generations.

- Communicating through your photographs. A picture really is worth a thousand words! You can capture an expression that says it all. Or as we've seen in magazines like Time and National Geographic, you can shoot photographs ...

About Kelvin
I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham.
I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str
ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc....
The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

About Daniel
Hello, my name is Dan, and it would be a great joy to share with you much of what makes me happy and which can enrich your life, too!

Would you like to learn how to create beautiful images? Learn from the 2008 Grand Prize winner at the Hocking Hills Shoot-the-Hills juried Photography Contest and have much fun refining and organizing your own work in Photoshop and Lightroom

Have you ever wanted to play that tune? You can do that and much more!

Have you ever wanted to know what's _really_ said in that foreign tongue part of a movie or opera? Have fun with languages while spared the school trauma, especially Italian and French, as we watch movies, read the best literature of these cultures and - only if you want - listen to music and enjoy it like the native speakers.

Any subject becomes a joy and an adventure!

I knew a bit of french going in and needed to practice listening skills and conversation. It was a lot of work, I have far to go in being comfortably conversational, but this was the jumpstart I needed to know what I needed to do going forward. Thanks Daniel!

After my first lesson I already feel more confident that I will be able to communicate some in Italian while on vacation in Italy. Daniel is an excellent teacher who is very knowledgeable in many languages. He made me feel comfortable right away.
He has a plethora of experiences from living and working abroad. He brought simple techniques/strategies that helped me understand grammar and pronunciation.
I have homework, can't wait for my next lesson. Ciao

Incredibly helpful
Cindy was incredibly helpful, and really went "above and beyond" in every way. She's extremely knowledgeable and did a tremendous amount of research in order to supplement her work on this job. Saved me many, many hours of potential aggravation — I will definitely continue to rely on her for expertise with all things Lightroom/Photoshop/PostProduction for photography. Highly recommended!

Computer Challenged student gives her 5 stars plus!
Cindy was very patient and worked well with my low computer skill level. The class was very informative and fun. I believe we hit it off right away. I can't wait for my next class.
- Hope S., Snellville, GA

Very patient.
Cindy was able to untangle my Lightroom 6 update snarl with patience and humor. She has an excellent grip on the mechanics of Lightroom and communicates well. I recommend her highly.
- Elizabeth S., Middleton, MD

Excellent
Contacted Cindy a few months ago to help me to put together a slide show, clean up my photos, To say that I'm technically inept would be a compliment. At my age (you don't want to know) just about all these new programs give me the shakes. I was using a rather basic photo program and she recommend I take a look at Adobe Lightroom. I was notified that it would look a bit intimidating and was pretty aggressive. That was an understatement. Well, it's been a couple months now and I think the Adobe LR program is absolutely terrific. I've become quite proficient and the program is so inclusive that I'm sure, despite how far I've come along, it will always be able to do what I need with the help of Cindy. She has been very responsive, knowledgeable, organized and very patient. My lessons will be ongoing (every two weeks) and will build upon a strong foundation. Highly recommend Cindy.

I was skeptic at first to take online lessons, especially photography. However, Amira made learning simple and very interactive. She was able to teach me enough within a few lessons in order for me to be able to take photos of my children. I'm thankful for the time and money spent on lessons.

I have loved photography ever since I was a teenager in the days of film cameras. My hobby eventually landed me a great job shooting weddings, models, commercials. You name it. I myself have studied photography for many years and I hope to pass down that information to you through guided lessons.

About Jason
I recently started working at Milestone Event Group as the lead photographer/videographer. Photography is an opportunity for me to capture life's moments and using various techniques photograph images not view-able to the naked eye. The geek in me loves the challenge of dealing with so so many technical variables like light, depth of field, composition, shutter speed and so on and so on. I enjoy helping others learn the joy of photography.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I retired from the Navy in 2011 after working 20 years in law enforcement. I also run my own company and website doing fitness equipment sales and service.

I have studied graphic design, advertising design, web design, fashion design, and music theory and production throughout my 6 years in higher education. I am a multimedia artist, primarily working in photography, but my interests and practices include video, songwriting, painting, makeup artistry, and fashion design. I am comfortable and fluent in all aspects of production within these mediums. I am I am available to tutor any of these subjects, with a specialty in digital photography and creative software including Adobe Creative Suite, Apple's Logic Pro X, other Apple software, or even Squarespace. My artistic practice is deeply personal, creativity is at my core. I am deeply passionate about technology and it's innate ability to push society forward and I would love to share what I know with anyone that is interested.

About Christopher
My strengths and skills lie in my work ethic. I teach with the same passion regardless of the pupil, but a completely unique style depending on how the student responds. I have been teaching software since I was very young, it has always just come intuitively to me. That being said, there are infinite learning styles, everyone's brain chemistry is a little bit different, so I adapt accordingly. A lot of this software and technical knowledge is difficult and tedious, and there are often many different means to the same end, but my teaching style is thorough and simplistic, and I will always explain things in a way that is cohesive to the student's learning process.

I have worked with Chris on a number of photo editing projects and I have been guided through the process with ease. He has done professional product photo shoots for my business and edited images prior to posting to an e-commerce website and has the eye, layout and technical ability to produce stellar results. When I am in need of direction on how to get the most out of images I use for print or online applications, he is my "go to" person for guidance.
