About L'Marco
I am not just a teacher, having the experience of successfully launching a solo career in the pop markets and working with some of the best in the industry! Thus, not only do I give instruction on basic and intermediate singing technique(s), I also focuses heavily on the performance aspect of music.

"There is nothing greater to witness on stage, than a singer who both has the talent and the ability to captivate their audience's full attention." - L. S.

I studied for 5 years at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSU, Long Beach. I studied everything from Classical to Jazz, so I'm knowledgeable on how to yield results in various genres. My musical education, however, dates far before my collegiate career, offering assurance to my students that they will, indeed, get the most from their lessons: the Ability, the Finesse (sharpenin
g of their natural talent), and the Confidence (which is one of the most vital elements of performance).

*** Lesson Details ***
I have a very unique teaching style most would say. I'm very real, honest, upfront, and approachable. My feedback is constructive and insightful. I focus on technical singing, initially, to really establish a solid foundation for musicality and health longevity, then as progression is made, I put emphasis on performance methods. Throughout my lessons, confidence building is my main focus! Most of my students can attest that if the work is put in, the best results are put out! I teach many genres: Classical, Pop/R&B, Rock, Country, and Musical Theatre!

L'Marco is providing my 8 year old son more than what I thought. He's teaching the things that go along with singing and the words and definition as well as having exams so he will really know what they mean. Diction, posture, diaghragm, larynax, glissando (?). He's teaching him pitch, performance and stage presence. Because of L'Marco and his wonderful teachings my son has song the lead to a song in church which he was very afraid before. Now he has many request to lead solos and perform at 2 separate banquets this year (2014). Several of my friends want to utilize L;Marco for their children... NO NO he's all mine. lol

L'Marco shares his soul/power through teaching!

I've been studying under L'Marco Smith for almost a year and can say not only has my singing ability improved but my confidence in myself and my voice as well. Not only does he focus on technique but is passionate about instilling the idea that music is all about the intention and message you want to leave your audience. I tend to put stress and pressure on myself being such a serious artist constantly looking for perfection but L'Marco has been there time after time reminding me with his enthusiasm, humor and supportive outlook to enjoy the journey. He has taught me to make bold mistakes, know you have been given a gift to share, and take responsibility don't be ashamed of your voice. I've never met such a teacher who would kill to see you succeed the way he does. I know working with him, I am becoming the confident/power/successful/artist I've always dreamed I could be.

Learn how to create beautiful images using more than just the 'auto' setting.

About Ross
Ross has been teaching for five years in both a school environment - in which he helped develop a performing arts department from the ground up - as well as private lessons, where his students succeeded musically and theatrically, having performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, with the Rockettes, and on international tours. His teaching philosophy is simple. Everyone can sing, most simply don't know how.

As a performer himself, Ross is a singer, actor, and photographer who graduated from the prestigious New York University with a Dual-Degree Master's of Music in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy. He has performed across the country regionally and on tour, in such iconic roles as "Marius" in Les Miserables, "Jack" and "The Baker" in Into the Woods, "Roger" in A New Brain, and "Anthony" in Sweeney Todd.

I highly recommend taking voice lessons with Ross! I took lessons with Ross for just under a year when he was teaching in the Boston area. First, I was in an a Capella singing class Ross taught. In a short time, he had our group working together well to make good music. Ross is a very positive and encouraging teacher and could always zero in quickly on exactly what we needed to work on to improve our sound. I also took private voice lessons with Ross, and he helped me to successfully prepare an audition for a summer vocal program. As a private teacher, I always felt like he was always able to help me identify a couple of strategies to fix any problem I was having, so I grew a lot as a singer. He has a wealth of knowledge about musical theater, and helped me to really understand the piece I was working on, so I could make my performance come alive. I felt like he really cared about my vocal development and I learned many things that I will always use when I sing.

Photography is my life. I have been doing it professionally since 2003. I have references and exhibitions all over the world. I can teach groups or individually. People of all ages and all levels are welcome.

About Jonathan "JC"
Hello students, parents, and co-creators. The way I teach is simple and fun! I am patient and dedicated to your success.

My name is Jonathan. I am a 33 year old French-American man living and working in Minneapolis. I will be your teacher today.

I am a happy husband and step-father who moved to Minnesota in 2015 to live with the wife Sophia and 2 kids: Blake and Samara, 14 and 12 (10th, and 7th grade).

I have been a professional photographer for more than 14 years now. It is my full-time job. I also practice traditional Indian-Himalayan SunYoga, meditation, acupressure. I have participated in healing cancer patients and all kinds of diseases in 4 different countries (USA, France, Serbia, India).

In 2015, before I moved to the USA, I was the President of a Non Profit Organization called SUNYOGA France, French branch of the ma
in NPO from India called UNIVERSAL PEACE CENTER, for yoga, research, education, and humanitarian programs. I am now working on creating the American branch of the association. It will be called SUNYOGA AMERICA.

WHAT ABOUT TEACHING? Everybody wants the best. I believe QUALITY is the most important. I also believe each person is UNIQUE and should be treated in a unique way.

What comes first? Question or answer? When we arrive on our first day at school do we have final exams? First the teacher shares knowledge during class. Depending on the teacher's talent, passion, and love for his work, the students will learn something. Then only we have exams.

Life is the biggest exam off all. Every day we are being tested. With our family, friends, work, travels, everywhere we go and whatever we do. Hopefully wisdom will come out of this process. All we need is a little support to all grow together.

Teaching is a big responsibility. Parents and teachers, it is our duty to teach the best. Let's do our best together. Thank you.

I have been using my Canon DSLR camera for 4 years now, primarily focusing on shooting architecture and landscapes. I can teach the basics of how to frame a shot using simple rules such as the rule of thirds, and more technical terms such as shutter speed and aperture settings to create proper lighting settings and depth of field.

About Steven
I'm a recent graduate of the Boston Architectural College, and employed by a large architectural firm in Boston. I am currently teaching a Rhino 3-D course at the BAC I tutor in all aspects of architecture including portfolio design, writing, software tutoring, design critiquing, and overall academic guidance. For software, I specialize in the Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros, and V-Ray. I've tutored students of all differing ages and skill sets, ranging from novice to advanced user. Further, I have numerous references and reviews about my services that I would be happy to pass along, as well as past design work that I have done both academically and professionally. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Jacob. My husband gave them to me as a birthday present and it was tons of fun. Jacob was able to answer all of my nitty gritty questions, as well as general tips on improving my skills. The lessons were enjoyable and I learned tons. I've gone from shooting in complete auto mode, because I didn't know how to do anything different, to shooting in aperture priority mode with much better results. My Christmas portrait of my kids will be much better this year thanks to these lessons. If you're looking for an affordable way to improve this is a great option because you'll learn a lot in just a few one-on-one sessions. Jacob was also very flexible in working with me on the schedule for the lessons. Thanks Jacob!

My name is Christopher Feth. I am a recent graduate from Parsons the New School for Design where I received my BFA in Photography. I have studied graphic design, advertising design, web design, fashion design, and music theory and production throughout my 6 years in higher education. I am a multimedia artist, primarily working in photography, but my interests and practices include video, songwriting, painting, makeup artistry, and fashion design. I am comfortable and fluent in all aspects of production within these mediums. I am I am available to tutor any of these subjects, with a specialty in digital photography and creative software including Adobe Creative Suite, Apple's Logic Pro X, other Apple software, or even Squarespace. My artistic practice is deeply personal, creativity is at my core. I am deeply passionate about technology and it's innate ability to push society forward and I would love to share what I know with anyone that is interested.

About Christopher
My strengths and skills lie in my work ethic. I teach with the same passion regardless of the pupil, but a completely unique style depending on how the student responds. I have been teaching software since I was very young, it has always just come intuitively to me. That being said, there are infinite learning styles, everyone's brain chemistry is a little bit different, so I adapt accordingly. A lot of this software and technical knowledge is difficult and tedious, and there are often many different means to the same end, but my teaching style is thorough and simplistic, and I will always explain things in a way that is cohesive to the student's learning process.

Experienced teacher of 3 years, working college level classes and teaching group summer classes. Accustomed to assisting in working through project specific problems in film and digital photography. Photoshop usage restricted to basic photo retouching and manipulation. Teaching style reflects my belief that photos should be shot with the intent that is the final product, not that it can be fixed later. Working with me, you will get the full spectrum of subject matter, from raw files/film negatives to finished, framed photographs.

About Tim
I'm a professional musician, photographer, and photography teacher. I graduated from Hofstra University with a major in Public Relations and a minor in photography.

I learned to teach photography working as an aide in the university darkrooms - running small group classes, and providing a critical eye on larger projects.

My musical teaching expertise stems from 18 years of cello performance, preferring to work with new students, and intermediate students looking for artistic direction. When working with others, I prefer to have students have projects of their own aspirations, in order to help drive their passion for what they're doing.

For photography lessons, expect to go to different locations each day, to capture a wide variety of lighting situations and interesting landscapes in Northern Jersey - remember your hiking boots!
