"From the beginning, Steven was prompt in return emails and phone calls, and was very professional. He is well versed in the Adobe suite, as well as other
design softwares, and has a very impressive work resume.
I met with him several time to go over Portfolio Design, project layouts, and overall the best way to present my materials. He helped me prepare my portfolio for college review to best showcase the materials I had. He also made recommendation on material I might want to add to best convey my ideas.
He was very patient, organized, and taught me how to use the Adobe suite thuroughly. I was confortable asking him questions, and if I was not clearly getting a concept, he took the time to teach it to me in a different way.
I would highly reccomend Steven as a tutor for anyone interested in bettering their abilties they already have, or even someone starting from scratch."

Hi everyone! I've been teaching in a variety of areas for many years in many different respects. I teach voice lessons, and audition coaching. I've been doing that for a long time! During my "day-job" years, I was an analyst, and I'm especially skilled with Microsoft Excel. And I LOVE teaching people how to make magic on that program. I have done projects that included creating databases, training departments on the use of said databases, taught entire departments at Jet Propulsion Laboratory how to migrate to Microsoft Outlook from (the archaic) Eudora.
My musical talents run parallel with my affinity for numbers. In my life, it has manifested in music composition, arranging, and musical direction. And, of course, PERFORMANCE! I've performed in and around the Los Angeles area for many years. I own a professional Christmas Caroling co

Why should you take lessons from me?
There are some musicians who teach only as a way to make ends meet and there are those who are passionate about education in general. There are some music teachers who will show you how to play songs and call it a day. That's giving the hungry a fish. I prefer to teach the hungry how to catch fish. Why you use a certain rod, line, lure, how to find fish, what fish are edible, how to drive a boat, etc...In musical terms this translates to things such as why you hold an instrument a certain way, the logic behind finger positions, how to construct chords/scales then use them, how to count musically and why, etc...I teach how to think musically and creatively on and off of the page and have a vested interest in the progress of my students.

I have helped people of all walks of life how to cross this digital divider. This includes professionals, business owners, college graduate students, college undergraduate students, high school students, and job applicants.
I manage to close the digital gab by simplifying mathematical and computer science concepts. I do not simply repeat what has been already detailed in trillions of pages of books and lectures. Everyone’s mind is different and thus everyone has a unique perception to understanding one issue or another.
I have taught programming algorithms, pseudo programming codes, programming codes in Python and other computer languages, Databases, Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher, MS Access, MS Outlook), and other IT areas for different levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced.
I am a programmer analyst. I have an IT sole proprietary business that deals with the design of computer software including programming analysis, databases, and data analysis. My sole proprietary business also covers software programming in computer languages that span from earlier languages such as BASIC, FORTRAN PASCAL, DBASE, COBOL to languages that continued and expanded such as C. And newer languages such as PYTHON with its extended libraries that managed to combine other tools and programming languages and became in its 3.x version an object-oriented language that runs linearly. Computer languages that include Weakly-Typed language, Strongly-Typed Language, High-Level Language, Low-Level Language, Interpreted Language, Compiled Language, General-Use Language, and Target-Use Language. My sole proprietary covers software design that combine code quality with efficient use of mathematics, logic, syntax, time, memory, and processing power. About Nick
My name is Nick and I am a freelance photographer located in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts. I am new to the TakeLessons platform but have many years of experience as a photographer and photography teacher.
I specialize in travel, fine art and sports action photography. I am a life-long photographer having worked for a weekly newspaper, a motorcycle racing magazine, as a wedding and event photographer, and as a sports photographer. Over the last 15 years I have photographed local town events, Middle and High School sports, college football, fund-raising events for non-profit organizations, motorcycle racing, bicycle racing, running road races, Rock ‘n Roll bands, and high school senior portraits. I am now focusing most of my time traveling around the world and making and exhibiting my photographs of the local landscapes and people. Many o
f my images have been published in newspapers, on various websites, and exhibited in many art galleries.
I enjoy teaching students how to "make" photographs, drawing from the skills and techniques that I have learned from my real-world experiences as a photographer. My students learn how to use their camera as an expression of their artistic vision. They will learn all aspects of workflow including research and preparation, camera settings, composition, post-processing, printing, and framing. The goal is for each student to create images that they would be proud to exhibit or display on their wall at home.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, please contact me for further information, to discuss your goals and objectives for making pictures, or to schedule a session. I offer both in person and remote lessons. Thank you.

About Cynthia
I tutor general computer skills - both Mac and Windows, although I specialize in Apple products. I also specialize in digital imaging, photography, Photoshop, and web design fundamentals (WordPress in particular). I am a good instructor for an older student as well as a person who wants to improve their skills but may be embarrassed to ask, since I have experience with the technophobic. I work with a lot of small, often women-owned businesses who want help with all aspects of running a business including social media, preparing materials for clients, using online newsletters (Constant Contact, Mail Chimp), accounting in Quicken, general business strategies, and refining a brand.

plications (Microsoft, Adobe, etc), I am happy to tutor you on those subjects. I have in-depth knowledge of most popular applications, and of iPhones and iPads and using iCloud synchronization effectively.
I'm a Cambridge based photographer who is well versed in all aspects of 35 mm film and digital photography as well as photo editing and post-processing using Photoshop. If it's related to digital images, photography or photo editing, Photoshop, or computer skills for these or other software programs, feel free to ask me a question.
I love images and the magic that is photography and I enjoy teaching photography techniques, skills and concepts. I also teach digital scanning and restoration.
Thank you,
Cynthia
