I teach saxophone lessons to students of all abilities, ages, and interests. A professional musician with a graduate degree from New England Conservatory, I offer online saxophone lessons that include instrumental technique, expression, and different styles of music. Ear training, sight reading, and rhythm are included as the student develops. Most importantly, studying any musical instrument is a fun and gratifying experience.

Michael incorporates classical and traditional music into lesson programs alongside modern styles to create diverse and interesting repertoire!

I have been training on the saxophone for upwards of twelve years! I have been giving lessons since 2015, and I am qualified to teach beginner to advanced players. I've earned top chairs in my county, district, and state, and students of mine have gone on to do the same in their own ensembles! I have also played in select honors bands, such as the Great American Marching Band in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I am a skilled teacher, having served as a middle school teacher's assistant and summer camp music instructor. My prices are competitive because I simply want to share the joy of music with you or your student! I always gear lessons toward the individual student's musical goals and interests and I am constantly reinforcing good technique and practice habits. My favorite genre to teach is jazz, but I can help you with classical and pop music, too!

I tailor my lessons based on your interests and skill level, finding pieces you enjoy which challenge you.
