Stephen's a great instructor both from a technical and personable perspective.

He's got a cornucopia of musical knowledge that's evident from how speaks to how he teaches. If you like any film score, chances are he knows how to play it.

Speaking as a beginner, I can say he's been very patient and knows a bunch of exercises and books to learn everything thing from theory to practical pieces to finger exercises.

He provides constructive guidance on what you're doing wrong, and I'm happy to see myself improve under his tutorage. (oh and if you're a sci-fi fan, you'll have a lot in common with him)

Steve is an excellent teacher! I always look forward to my classes. I am a student in high school, and he fully understands my need to balance my school work with piano, and he makes sure that I am able to comfortably commit to both aspects of my life. Steve makes sure that I stay on task and that I am progressing with my piano skills all while making the lessons fun and enjoyable.

As a college graduate with two Associates degrees in Fine Arts & Associates in Digital Arts, and a Certificate of Completion in Digital Photography, I've learned a tremendous amount about photography and operating the camera. I'm eager to share this knowledge and these skills with my photography students.

You'll learn the basic functions of your camera, how to compose a great photograph, and if you need help with editing and managing your photos I can help you with that as well. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help!

About Josiah

I'm a professional website designer, internet marketer, photographer, and visual artist. I have a wide range of skills, talents, and interests from coding CSS and HTML, to manipulating photos, and making fine art paintings. Despite the medium, above all else, I am visual artist and designer. Wit

Josiah is an EXCELLENT teacher. I purchased WordPress early in 2021 in order to build a company website. After going through tons of YouTube and WordPress lessons for literally several months, I still had no idea what I was doing and my website was also going nowhere.

After choosing Josiah as my instructor, I had an immediate improvement of my website and also gained a wealth of knowledge about website design and building in a very short amount of time.

Josiah is very, very knowledgeable and patient. I never feel coerced. He listens to my questions and concerns and gives timely, reliable feedback. Most importantly, he genuinely wants his students to learn.

Additionally, I appreciate the fact that there are no assignments, no exams, I only have to learn what is important and what I want and need to know, and I can do all of this at my own pace with absolutely no obligations or constraints.

In addition to the website building, Josiah also unselfishly gives invaluable expert advice on other topics such as marketing and advertising. I am very grateful for his help.

I am happy he is my tutor. I don't think I could have chosen a better tutor. I strongly recommend him as the number one tutor for website building with WordPress.

Very knowledgeable teacher! I've learned more from Josiah than all of the Youtube and Wordpress tutorials combined. A+

First lesson. Awesome to work with. Very patient and understands his subject of expertise thoroughly. I had previously tried to start on my own without knowing anything and every time he ran into something that surprised him he was able to quickly diagnose, explain, and lead me to the solution. And I had done some weird stuff apparently. Very impressed so far. Cool guy.

I am a certified teacher with a master's degree in Radio, TV, Film and one in education as well. I was an adjunct professor of photography at Manhattan's New School for Social Research for 10 years and have spent another 10 years teaching other adults as well as adolescents photography. I have conducted private lessons as well as workshops in my own studio.
My teaching is unique because, unlike many photography clubs where members voice their various opinions on photographs, my technique involves an objective approach where lessons are given each time that can be analyzed to see if requirements of the assignment were met. This way, the student learns not just through critiques, but by comparing his or her results to successful examples. I also do quite a bit of field work and teaching by example. It's the most effective way to learn. I get students putting their digital cameras on "MANUAL" right away and they master the concepts of correct exposure right off the bat.

About William

I have been doing commercial photography for over 40 years. I owned and operated a large studio on West 22nd Street in NYC for 20 of those years and I taught photography from 1988 to the present. I have never stopped. I like one-on-one sessions, but I have also conducted many workshops and classes i
