I appreciate Marc’s knowledge, professionalism, and teaching methods. I also appreciate his practice of social distancing and mask wearing. He was thorough, good-humored, and patient during my lesson.
Roger H.
He is very good with me. I'm not a very good student. I have bad habits and I'm overly sensitive to criticism, yet he has not made me feel bad at all about my playing if you want to call it that. I also have a short attention span and can't read music fluently. But his patience is much appreciated, and each week get a little better at it all. I recommend him to those trying their best to sound a little better.

It was really good information and I had a lot of fun.

Ukulele is a newer instrument to me, but I have been teaching and performing for over 8 years now. I have played music since age 5 starting with violin and later guitar, which I studied at Berklee College of Music. Uke became a recent passion as I formed an acoustic duo of cello and ukulele (and singing) called DvOd that has performed all over the NW and released a CD. I provide a core curriculum of basic technique and music knowledge, combined with customizing to the student's interest. From Traditional Hawaiian to Eddie Vedder to Jake Shimabukuro, I can help you learn your favorites.

About Eric

Music lessons for all ages and levels on guitar, bass, violin, cello, ukulele, banjo and voice/singing. Private studio in downtown Redmond or online lessons. I have been teaching for over 15 years, performing and recording as a singer/songwriter/guitarist for over 30 years. Berklee College of Music

I learned from some great musicians out west that the ukulele can be really fun and have more range of notes too when tuned GDAE as a violin would be tuned. Ever since I learned that I have loved playing the ukulele and also have fun helping others to become well versed in playing many styles of music on there. One can play rhythm, melodies, improvise, write songs, play almost any style of music on a ukulele.

About Tara

I have a Masters in Education as well as having spent many years performing, teaching in one on one and group settings both privately and at music camps and festivals. I play and teach bluegrass, old time, blues, folk, Irish, and swing jazz styles. I like my students to really enjoy playing music a

"My son is a BEGINNER beginner. Rodrigo is a very nice guy and seems to know his stuff very well. I would give him 5 stars but I don't think he realized that my son needed the basic, basic 1st lesson (i.e. how to hold the instrument). We've only attended one session so this is fully based on that one lesson. I'm sure he'll adjust his teaching from here on out."

"Grant quickly recognized my level of understanding with chord movement (beginner to intermediate) and we analyzed a song together that will help me recognize chord motion in other songs. This will allow greater chord pattern recognition, and therefore memorization should come easier - which I really want to happen!
