I love just about every style of music. I mostly play Celtic, Bluegrass, American traditional, jazz, and classical. I a

He is very good with me. I'm not a very good student. I have bad habits and I'm overly sensitive to criticism, yet he has not made me feel bad at all about my playing if you want to call it that. I also have a short attention span and can't read music fluently. But his patience is much appreciated, and each week get a little better at it all. I recommend him to those trying their best to sound a little better.

I have been taking fiddle/violin lessons from Marc for a few months now, and it has been a great experience. He is very patient and keeps things fun by helping me learn pieces that I am interested in learning to play. I would highly recommend him for any instrument you are wanting to learn.

1 hour lesson with music theory, performance tips, and of course playing music!
I have been teaching for 7 years. In 2013 I received my Bachelors Degree in music from Bluefield College. I have played for the Rappahannock Youth Symphony and the Bluefield College Orchestra and I have in duets and trios with members of the Roanoke Symphony. I enjoy playing music, because music echoes the soul. Everyone may speak a different language, but all musicians speak the same language of notes and rhythm.

About Dawnn

I have been playing violin, viola and cello for 20 years at the age of only 27. I am the Principal Conductor of Ovation Youth Symphony Orchestra. Previously, I was the Assistant Conductor of the Crossroads Youth Orchestra. I have been teaching for 10 years. I have experience teaching children as

We have been with Dawnn for a couple of years now. Originally, the purpose of us hiring her as a violin teacher was to get my son into the string orchestra. Promise fulfilled and my son got into the orchestra. Besides, we really appreciate Dawnn for her commitment, punctuality, and proficiency. Her skill and expertise are producing wonderful fruits in my son's musical accomplishments . Thank you so much!

What I look for in musicians is that anyone is able to unlock their potential and become the violinist you desire. I’ve played for 11 years and have taught two years of lessons. The aim is to improve bit by bit, which is necessary, but for the best results. Fun is part of this process, so expect to be productive but enjoy yourself!

I have been enjoying the violin for 28 years, playing in orchestras, small group sessions, public solo and collaborative performances in both classical style and Scottish fiddle. i have instructed beginner students in violin and music for over ten years, including adults and teens who have never played instruments before. I like to foster innovation and personal style in a student, not just instruct in the craft of using the instrument or in reading sheet music.

About Renie

I have studied with prominent Scottish Fiddlers, attended the Ohio Scottish Arts School for several sessions, played for the Las Vegas Highland Dance Association, and in events associated with the St. Andrews Society of Southern Nevada I've been playing violin for 30 years, Scottish Fiddle for 2

Renie was my first violin teacher as a teenager, and I have to say that she is excellent with beginners and advanced students alike. She continued to mentor me throughout my teenage and young adult years, and stayed consistent throughout.

She is flexible and very patient! She is equally as knowledgeable in Classical violin techniques and repertoire as she is in the styles of Celtic fiddling (Scottish, Irish, Cape Breton, etc.)

If I still lived in Las Vegas, I'd continue to take from her!

I haven’t touched an instrument since school and am all thumbs but she was patient and clear and helped me build the basics and confidence. Definitely going to continue lessons 10/10

There was helpful critiquing and a fair amount of pats on the back when it came to small victories. For a beginner like myself, that kept my morale on the up and up. "I've played violin before, and I've practiced singing all of my life, so I am familiar with music theory. I decided to try the violin again after not practicing since my childhood. I have to say, Anna has helped me so much in this regard. Her teaching style is welcoming and encouraging, and she has already got me playing more enthusiastically. I now want to learn more fun songs after working out the mechanics. Thanks Anna!"

"Diane is a fabulous teacher!! When my daughter wanted to start violin and fiddle I knew I would need to know something about violin to help her at home. So, Diane taught my 5 year old and me. Diane really has an amazing bond with my daughter and has truly become one of our family... She makes the lessons fun and engaging for my daughter... She takes a personal interest in her students and gears the lessons to their level. Diane is always willing to work with you when it comes to schedules as well, for example: summer time vacations.... I highly recommend Diane as an instructor. She knows her instrument, her theory, and how to convey the information to adults and small children. We have now been taking lessons for a couple of years and my daughter still looks forward to them and that is due to the investment that Diane has personally made in their relationship!"
