I am a filmmaker who has also had extensive practice with photography. I am versed in many types of analog and digital photography.

About Paul
While attending the University of Southern California, where I received my M.F.A., I worked as a writing tutor in the USC Writing Center and also taught Classical Greek Mythology. After graduation, I taught Verbal, Writing and Literature SAT classes and worked as a private tutor in a variety of subjects.

I later taught for five years at the New York Film Academy in Universal City, CA, where I taught a variety of Critical Studies classes to various levels of students, some in certificate programs and others working towards their M.F.A.

As a former English and Spanish double major, I have always enjoyed teaching at various levels. Most of my other work these days involves the writing and editing of short stories, screenplays and novels.

You’ll find that I have the education, background and experience to be an excellent instruct
or for your needs.

Paul was my favorite teacher at the New York Film Academy.
Unlike most of the teachers, Mr. Paul put a lot of effort and creativity into planning his classes, which made them both stimulating and fun for us.
I also loved the fact that Mr. Paul always respected our opinions, and never made us feel stupid when we didn’t understand something. He was always very encouraging and willing to keep explaining until we got it.

I highly recommend him to anyone interested in extra lessons. He is definitely worth it!

Christopher is very knowledgeable with Photoshop ... I can't begin to say how patient he was with me and helpful he is with this program!!!
I had a very light background with PS but had not needed to actually use it until recently with my work.
I made contact with Christopher and asked for help (help!!!). We worked out a workable schedule very quickly and he had me hands-on in very little time.
I had no idea of all that was part of Photoshop yet Christopher got me up and running with the program with just two sessions.
Wow.
Thank you so much!!!

I have shot portraits professionally for over 4 years in all styles and environments. Aside from the basics and art of photography, I can teach you how to prepare for photoshoots, working with clients, and create a smooth experience to get the best photos out of yourself and the people you work with.

About Gordon
Hello! My name is Gordon L. and I would love to help you or your child discover your passions and work towards reaching any academic or artistic goals!

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, I am fortunate to have had an exceptional academic foundation. I attended Punahou School K-12 earning high marks and went on to graduate college from the University of California, Berkeley. I have a variety of expertise and tutoring experience in these subjects:

- Computer Programming
- Math
- Chinese
- Humanities
- SAT

Outside of school, I have also always been an artist and hobbyist, heavily investing myself in various forms of creative expression including:

- Dance (hip-hop/urban)
- Photography (DSLR, Lightroom/Photoshop)
- Card magic/Card flourishes (look it up :P)

Over the years, I have found that my enthusiasm for both people
and learning different things greatly enriches my life and those around me. If you're looking for someone who can introduce you to a variety of subjects, I'm your guy. I love learning about anything and everything and hope to encourage others to explore their passions. Furthermore, though my interests are many and varied, I have also committed years into training, have a solid grasp on their principles, and can confidently say that I am a qualified expert. I look forward to meeting you and helping you learn with me!

I am currently published in three different states and online. I use the time of day to my advantage and natural light. I am also a Shutterstock . com contributor.

About James
I am best known for putting a lot of life and exactness into the eyes on my canvas; humans and pets. I have been painting for over 40 years. During this time I have continued my education by taking classes from other Artists and schools. I have used pastels, oil paints, charcoal, pencil, clay, mixed media, watercolor and acrylic. I prefer Acrylic for its control, exact pigment and drying time. Which affects over all project time. My specialties are faces, animals and abstract. All of which have been commissioned for me to paint or was a result of my donation of a custom painting to local charities.

I have painted for years but his classes helped me rediscover a live for painting people. The eyes were the hardest until I realized I must capture the tiniest detail. I recommend him for any class. Very patient and very generous soul! Thank you!!!!!
