Lessons with me are kind of like playing a video game that makes you laugh while you also get really good at the piano. I can promise that you will see a huge increase in your piano skills in a very short period of time using my unique approach to learning, and that we'll have a lot of fun along the way. Send me a message! I'd love the opportunity to discuss your musical goals and how I can help you reach them. I specializer in teaching beginner-advanced intermediate piano but have an extensive knowledge of music theory that would make me a suitable teacher for all levels

I have a great love for classical piano. I have a unique method for introducing music theory that allows my students to grasp the hows and whys of various pieces. I have great respect for the virtuosos and master teachers that have come before us. While I work on scales and cadences with my students - I also set up a program specifically geared towards what my students (and/or their parents) want to learn. I can be very formal (because I recognize its value) and very relaxed (because I know that this type of teaching is important for some people). Classical piano is not a walk in the park; there is a reason many people do not move to the next level. I make my instruction easy-to-understand and enjoyable. Well, the music speaks for itself - there are many classical pieces that are irresistible! Also, if preparing for a local proficiency review, I can assist you in accomplishing your goals. I use the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program from the Carnegie Foundation for a benchmark for various skill sets. You'll have a lot of fun and you will definitely be challenged.

I have been playing piano as a secondary instrument for 15 years, and I love sharing my knowledge with others. Music is a passion and a learned talent that requires repetition and patience. I can help guide you toward whatever your music goals are, whether you want to play professionally, in a band, or just at home in your spare time. In just a few lessons you will learn the basic keys on the piano and correct finger positions. As we go on you will be able to play scales and chords. Finally you will learn how to read music and play all of your favorite songs. I start with the legendary John Thompson's Modern Course for the Piano, Alfred's Piano Book, and A Dozen a Day Piano Book for kids. I teach classical, jazz, blues, and other styles of music. Both kids and adults are welcome. Take that next step in becoming a better pianist, and let's have some fun! Thank you

I've been teaching piano for over 15 years and my students have gone on to play professionally, become teachers themselves, and develop a love of music. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play fun simple songs at the piano. and as time goes on you'll be able to read musical notation, understand basic music theory, and play classical or contemporary pieces. I typically use Bastein, Alfred, or Faber method books depending on the students age and ability . I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
