Lessons with me are kind of like playing a video game that makes you laugh while you also get really good at the piano. I can promise that you will see a huge increase in your piano skills in a very short period of time using my unique approach to learning, and that we'll have a lot of fun along the way. Send me a message! I'd love the opportunity to discuss your musical goals and how I can help you reach them. I specializer in teaching beginner-advanced intermediate piano but have an extensive knowledge of music theory that would make me a suitable teacher for all levels

WELCOME!! “We teach music not so that children (or anyone else) can make beautiful music, But because music makes beautiful people”. – Anonymous & my favorite quote I try hard to present students with a solid, broad based approach with an emphasis on understanding the fundamentals of musical comprehension, music reading, musical memory, and ear development. These are essential to playing and enjoyment of any instrument! To this end we cover theory, music history, performance, technique and practical application. These basics are supplemented and reinforced by the monthly group sessions, several annual field trips, access to regional, state and national music competitions and performances, as well as the formal Student Evaluations each Spring. I have a full music lab, an extensive library of music and music reference materials and up to date postings on local free or low cost musical events While I tend to emphasize classical music and technique, we will also cover a wide range of music in various meters and modalities: classical, popular and world music in solos and duets. Supplementary books are available: holiday, religious, popular, classical, music from specific times, places, composers, movies... or whatever the student wishes, when they are ready. My personal goal is not to have a studio full of competition performers. A few are always nice of course, but the average student just wants to be able to make music - to make it sing. I DO want them to understand, appreciate, and be able to pick up something and figure it out - or apply what they know to another instrument. Once music is part of a life, it never leaves; it is the one universal language.

Students will quickly learn the fundamental skills of playing the piano including how to read music notation, theory, and music history. As students progress, they will have opportunities to perform for audiences large and small. Intermediate and advanced students may choose to focus on Jazz, Classical, or Praise and Worship music. For the serious classical pianist, you can opt to have longer sessions by choosing Classical Piano. Lesson Location - Choose between In-person or online virtual lessons. Lesson in person can be either at the teacher's home studio or in the comfort of your own home. There is an additional travel charge for in-home lessons. Students must have a digital or acoustic piano (not a portable keyboard) for in-home lessons. If a piano is not available, lessons will be at the teacher's studio or virtually online. Missed Lessons - If you must miss a lesson, please make every effort to notify the instructor at least 24 hours in advance. A make-up lesson may or may not be scheduled at the teacher’s discretion. ~ Any lesson which is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance may be forfeited. ~ Lessons missed due to teacher cancellation will be rescheduled or credit given. ~ Make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled a second time, and if missed, you will be charged automatically for that lesson. ~ If a pattern of missed lessons develops, the student will be removed from the teacher’s weekly schedule.

In our lessons, beginning students will learn to read music, play their favorite pieces, how to do warm ups and learn basic skills. I use sheet music and introductory books in my classes and assign homework for their daily practice. After 3 months, each student will move to the next level and continue learning more advanced skills. More advanced students will learn how to understand and compose music, put expression into the pieces they play and improve their current skills.

I am a master teacher focusing on the classical repertoire along with the very strong approache to improvisation. I am really helping each single student to achieve their interests in music rather than focusing on teaching one particular method. I just take a very similar approach to the Suzuki method but instead of teaching out of the method books I teach mixture of exercises and pieces that I believe are more fun and accessible to today student of any age. Classes are tailored to the needs of any particular student and constantly evolving. I am a true believer that this also enchances an understanding and love of classical music. A huge range of students come as beginners and left as a young artists as well as adult students Who came to learn piano and have found that they can perform professionally. And plus have a great deal of Fun! I also guide my students in the curriculum and exams of the Royal Conservatory program. Exams are offered twice a year. Also my students participating in Junior festivals and community recitals. I have also been a judge for Lake Central Junior festival which held in University of central Florida for over 8 years and an assistant for RC exams. Creativity and love of music are the key elements that I encourage in every single student. With my teaching skills and over 20 years of experience I am taking each single student beyond their own expectation while helping them to achieve their own goals. Bio: I am a professional pianist, teacher and composer. Because of my through knowledge and experience with music I can teach all ages and levels an array of important subjects including piano, music theory, , improvisation, composition, music history. My goal with every single student to incorporate all those subjects into my piano lessons so that every student gains a through understanding of music and become a well- rounded musician. I started piano lessons when I was 7 years old and quickly felt in love with the instrument. In spite of studying a very structured program I quickly began to explore my creative side and was always improvising on the piano as well as enjoying playing classical pieces. Throughout my youth I entered and placed in a few competitions. I was also involved with the band chorus, dance and drama and attended lots of concerts, plays, operas, ballets. It gave me a well-rounded artistic upbringing. I Persuaded my passione for music and graduated World renowned Moscow conservatory of music with Master’s degree in piano performance and teaching. My education tought me to understand piano in depth along with music theory and ear training. If you want to sit at the piano and play what you feel or to master every detail of a piece of music so you can express it exactly as composer intended? I can teach you. I completely encourage all ages and backgrounds to explore their musical passion and discover the endless possibilities of Piano!!!

I teach with an emphasis on learning and understanding the chords of music. Usually the lesson books are used for techniques and proper playing, but the real joy comes from playing the music that each student loves. I'm good at finding that music for every student even if I have to write the notes out myself. I want them to play what inspires them and develop a love of music for life.
