Taking up dance late in life I have an appreciation for the transformation dance can achieve in a short period of time. I have been dancing since 2008, taking instruction from local and international folkloric and belly dance masters. In 2012 I started teaching at the request of other ladies who wanted to better understand the magic I had found in this beautiful art form. They were looking the self confidence, fitness, and social circles I had found. Where a woman can find her own personal style and have the freedom and acceptance to express themselves through music, rhythms and costuming.Students learn to enjoy the dance, and the artistry of costuming while learning the cultural roots of the different dance styles.
