I have been teaching violin/fiddle for 9 years. My students will learn how to solo, as well as play along with other instruments. I use a variety of materials to suit the student's needs and teach a variety of music skills such as accompaniment, improvisation, and theory at my lessons. I teach to any age and experience level. As a music instructor, I am eager to cater to the needs of each individual child and to provide them with engaging musical experiences in supportive environments. I have previously provided violin, viola, and piano lessons to students of all ages both through Thompson Tutoring in Portage, Michigan and Reverb Lessons in Chicago, Illinois. I have approximately six years of private teaching experience.

I recently graduated from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts with a Master of Music Degree in Viola Performance. In 2016, I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Viola Performance and Spanish. My performance experience includes both local and international venues. I have performed locally throughout the Southwest Michigan area, in orchestras such as the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, Whiting Park Symphony Orchestra, Holland Symphony Orchestra, and Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra. Violin is my primary instrument I can teach violin students from the very beginning to the college level. I will happily work on any style of violin music with you!

I teach from the earliest beginner through adult. My violin students are currently performing for different schools and ensembles. When students are performing with orchestras, much time is spent working on that music as well as their regular music.

It is so important to learn from a real professional. I am international soloist and pedagogue, having studied with the world's greatest teachers, Ivan Galamian, Dorothy DeLay, Josef Gingold, etc. international violin competitions winner. It is very easy to get faulty instruction at any stage of the development. Mine is of the highest of quality. I can teach from beginner to the most advanced. Have been teaching for 40+ years.

I have been teaching violin since 1998. I have an earned Masters degree in music and enjoy teaching students of all ages. I am happily married with 5 children at home--4 of them are musicians as well (the youngest is 4).. Students will quickly learn not only the basics of music theory, but will be playing songs as early as their first lesson. It is extremely rewarding watching students have fun, excel, and fall in love with making music. I presently teach music at 3 schools (1 college) and only have a few lessons slots available.
