Vanessa Silva received her degree in Marketing and Advertising after attending university in NY and England for her passion - film. She has a diverse background in Creative Direction which includes film, video, sound, graphic design, management, marketing, advertising and training. In May 2014, after several years in management and marketing, she followed her passion to pursue a career in film. She started 222 FOOTLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT at the end 2014 with the production of her first short film "The Alibi", which she wrote, acted, produced and edited. Since then she has acted in an array of new media spots, short films, feature films and on stage. 222 Footlight Entertainment and, subsequently, Footlight Studios LLC℠ have received awards in filmmaking and production, from cinematography to editing, since its inception. In addition to filmmaking, she is also an award-winning photographer and a published freelance writer - having written articles for both online and printed publications.
