Cello with Tim H.

I'm a professional musician, photographer, and photography teacher. I graduated from Hofstra University with a major in Public Relations and a minor in photography. I learned to teach photography working as an aide in the university darkrooms - running small group classes, and providing a critical eye on larger projects. My musical teaching expertise stems from 18 years of cello performance, preferring to work with new students, and intermediate students looking for artistic direction. When working with others, I prefer to have students have projects of their own aspirations, in order to help drive their passion for what they're doing. For photography lessons, expect to go to different locations each day, to capture a wide variety of lighting situations and interesting landscapes in Northern Jersey - remember your hiking boots!
