Acting with Suzanne H.

I'm a graduate of one of the top five M.F.A. Acting Programs in the United States : The Actors Studio Drama School. I was trained in the Method and have been performing theatrically for over twelve years. I have written and produced two Off-Off Broadway productions and have been an acting coach to students in South Korea, Israel and the United States. I take a holistic approach to coaching actors. I work with the energy body, the voice, physical body, spiritual, mental and emotional so that students can be "in flow" when performing. Although I am a Method based actor, I understand the value in utilizing an array of techniques so that the actor can feel 100% comfortable in executing their role. I also teach actors how to "divorce" their roles so that they can create healthy boundaries, stability, harmony and balance in their life. In my opinion, one of the most important aspects in acting, is to stay curious. I will give you my all, but the one thing I can't teach is curiosity. However, I can support you in becoming more curious about your nature, and about the character's nature. Although my background is primarily in theater, I do coach film and tv actors.
