About Seth H.
Hello, I'm Seth!
I'm a guitarist and composer/arranger from the Pacific Northwest. I have a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Idaho, as well as a B.Mus. in Composition and a B.A. in Spanish and French.
I especially love the music from South America: Bossa Nova, Samba, Tango, Cueca, Huayno, etc. I play solo classical guitar and I'm also part of a couple of bands.
I love introducing people to the wonderful world of guitar! I've been fortunate to study the instrument on three different continents in three different languages, and I hope to be able to share my experience with my students.

I've been learning with Seth for a few months now and my classical guitar has really come a long way. I thought online learning would add on to the difficulty of learning, but it really hasn't changed my experience that much. Seth is patient and offers very useful feedback and advice on pieces you are learning.
He's very knowledgeable and experienced with classical guitar and music in general, definitely recommend!

Seth is a talented guitarist and a patient instructor. He is very creative in developing techniques / suggestions to assist your understanding and progress. Useful aides he provides (via email) include PDF's with musical examples, arrangements, and videos.
Online guitar instruction is a difficult endeavour to do well. Seth is skillful at this challenge. It will be well worth your consideration to work with him. He will help you to improve your musicianship.
