    About Scott L.

Scott has been teaching theatrical combat four years in a variety of settings; from private lessons and group workshops to high school and college level classes, and is now available to teach from his home studio, or to come to you. Scott has trained with the Society of American Fight Directors since 2011, and after receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder he began choreographing for local theaters. Since then his work has been featured in award winning films, and theater productions across the US. Most notably he has worked with Opera Colorado, and since 2014 has been the resident fight director at Tara School for the Performing arts in Boulder CO. Though well versed in many styles of stage combat, Scott focuses on teaching three: Unarmed, Single Sword/"Hollywood Swashbuckling", and theatrical firearm Safety. While focusing on technique and safety, Scott's teaching style has been described as fun and easy going, and energetic.
