I am Sarah Hanan.
I graduated from North Central University in 2013 with a B.A in American Sign Language/English Interpreting.
Since my graduation I have been working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in high school to learn independent living skills and job seeking skills.
I have also been working with DeafBlind clients out in the community and understand the spectrum of DeafBlind and their needs.
The class would be a combination of learning the language as well as learning about the Deaf culture, (if interested) the DeafBlind culture, and required to be involved in the Deaf community in your area to get the maximum learning possible.
