Let's Remove Any Fear From Shakespeare!

Hello! I’m Rose K. and I’m so excited to work with you! Have you ever been to a Shakespeare play and hated it? You are not alone! There are very specific things that make seeing Shakespeare amazing or...not. Much of what makes Shakespeare amazing is how the language he uses is approached. He wrote in iambic pentameter, but hearing what he wrote being read in iambic pentameter is a terrible experience! I fell in love with Shakespeare's writings in college, both in my undergrad and graduate programs. I've had the opportunity to perform many of his works and am so excited to help you get to know him. Maybe you have a Shakespeare competition coming up or you've also loved Shakespeare for years. I'm here to go on the journey with you and help every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you!

Hello! I’m Rose K. and I’m so excited to work with you! Providing a safe place to play with the material you are working with is very important to me - be it audition preparation, a monologue, song, play, screenplay or a speech you are preparing to give. I’ll work to have you confidently prepared in body, voice, and mind! I attended the Royal Irish Academy of Music, studying under Irish Opera star Suzanne Murphy. It was there that I sang with Alex Sharpe of Celtic Women. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies with an emphasis in performance from Brigham Young University - Idaho. After performing in a festival while living in NYC, I was selected for the privilege of being mentored by Broadway conductor Sande Campbell and the late Andrew Zerman–who was the original casting director of Cats, Les Miserables, and Phantom of the Opera. After receiving multiple national awards for musical theatre performance at the college level I received a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. While at BoCo, I was trained in masterclasses with Broadway star Sutton Foster, Viewpoints director Anne Bogart, and Musical Pop/Rock trainer Sheri Sanders. I studied with industry regulars Cathy Rand, Igor Golyak, Steven Ladd Jones, Larry Sousa, and Laura Marie Duncan. I perform professionally all over the world and have also taught acting and musical theatre classes in the public high school setting. I look forward to meeting you!
