I teach music fundamentals to a group of 2nd graders over the course of a school year. Students play violin and attend music class everyday. We explore music theory as well as percussion and different musical styles.

We will work on strengthening fundamentals as well as building music theory knowledge. The focus will be classical, but can also include jazz and learning how to improvise. Each student enters with a goal, and I want to work with them to reach it.

Hello there! I am Robert and I play trombone. I have been playing for 12 years and received a Bachelors in Music from Cal Poly Pomona. I have been teaching private lessons since 2013 on both Trumpet and Trombone. In addition, I gig professionally in Southern California and teach music at an elementary school in San Gabriel. I aim to pass on knowledge, confidence, and technical ability to each of my students. I look forward to helping you with your musical goals!

I can't say enough good things about Robert.  He has instructed my 10 year old son for a year.  Robert has kept my son engaged with his instrument, and music in general, and we have seen a steady improvement in his playing.  He has been kind and gentle at times, yet firm when needed.  An all around excellent teacher.
