African Dance with Rehema N.

Rehema Nkisi has been teaching private lessons for more than 20 years and is currently available to teach lessons at the Dance Studio and online. Rehema has helped students gain a sense of self esteem around movement and body awareness, Gain rhythm consciousness, and gain physical strength and tone all with low impact Zongo style of dancing. Rehema received training on scholarship to Oakland Ballet, Everybody’s Creative Art Center (Modern, Jazz, Haitian, African, The Malonga Casquelourd Center for The Arts, Oakland, CA (Traditional African Dance, Afro Brazilian, Haitian, Cuban and more), for more than 20 years, where she studied under the tutelage of various Renown African Artist / Professional African Dancers and Drummers and soon 2001 became an Instructor herself. As an expert in her field, Rehema Nkisi looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals. Rehema's teaching style is Powerful yet gentle, Toning and Rhytmic, Low Impact and Fun.
