I have served as Musical Director for Theatre in the Country on three productions (Hunchback of Notre Dame, Little Women, and The Man Who Saved Christmas) working with singers of all ages and skill levels, helping to put on performances that delighted even the most trained of audience members.

As an experienced singer with a background in jazz, barbershop, and musical theatre, my goal is to help you find and love your full voice by building a solid technical foundation aimed at achieving vocal freedom.

I am an accomplished singer in the world of barbershop singing (a women's chorus ranked 13th internationally through Sweet Adelines International, and a women's quartet ranked 3rd in western Canada).

To say that music fills my life is an understatement. I also currently teach general music at the elementary level, as well as serve as one of the musical directors for a local theatre company. My experience with both younger and more matured voices in several contexts gives me a unique skill set that I can use to help more singers find their voices.

Working with Rebecca was a fantastic experience! I was a total newbie who knew nothing about singing when she starting teaching me. Rebecca showed a ton of patience with me, and the other singers in our group. She helped me find the confidence to get up on a stage and sing in front of a bunch of strangers. Rebecca's lessons and vocal warm-ups were always fun and informative! I highly recommend Rebecca as a teacher.

Rebecca has a deep passion for music that I have rarely ever seen. She is a fantastic instructor. For me personally, she took a completely untrained singer and turned me into a primary soloist in such musicals as The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
