Visual Art and Drama Intructor
Jul, 2017 - Jul, 2019Lumos Arts Academy
I pioneered the visual art and drama program for this full-time K-12 private school under the direction of Principal Chuck Green and Fine Arts Director Dr. Russell Seaton. Because of our passion to see students thrive at their peak potential and needing knowledgeable decision-making from the ownership to do so, all three of us have left this school to lead and teach on our own terms. However, at this school I created dynamic programs that offered original classes for credit such as Music Video Recording, filming, and production; Theatrical Dance Expression; Visual Art Set and Prop creation for our musicals; as well as improv and traditional acting for stage and film. I also directed 2 musicals with interesting twists, and mentored students 7-12th grade with important life skills based on their needs.
