Hi there! I'm a professional playwright, who started out as a theatre kid and never went back. I moved to New York to attend Columbia, and since then I've been living in the city and pursuing writing! In addition to playwriting, I also write for publications like Slate.com. I'm basically a book nerd who can't get enough of literature, history, cultural studies, and playing soccer (bet you didn't see that coming). My favorite part of tutoring is developing a rapport with my students. If you have fun, I have fun; if you learn, I learn. For me, tutoring is not just about reciting dates or definitions, but about thoroughly understanding the material so that you can navigate it on your own. And maybe you'll even grow to love a former problem area - who knows!
