Lesson Details

Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate
With 8 years of study, I specialize in teaching beginning and intermediate singers. All ages are welcome! Lessons are customized to the student's goals. I supply my students with a strong breath foundation to build a beautiful, healthy tone that is unique to each student. I emphasize muscle relaxation and vocal health in my teaching. With this grounded, down and out vocal technique, students can learn to sing any genre, from classical to pop. From my performing experiences, I can prepare students for any audition (high school musicals, all-state choir, college auditions, etc).

Teaching since:

I am a classically trained vocalist, but I can also sing in the style of jazz, pop, rock, and Broadway shows. I am a graduate of Westminster Choir College, studying voice under Zehava Gal and Elisabeth Sutton.
During my time at Westminster, I have performed at NJ Performing Arts Center with the New Jersey Symphony, Lincoln Center with Alan Gilbert conducting the NY Philharmonic, Kimmel Center with Yannick Nezet-Seguin conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra.
I have recently performed at the Kravis Center and Arsht Center with the Delray Beach Chorale. And, I am currently a part of Expressivo, under the direction of John Weatherspoon.
With all of this experience, I help my students towards their singing goals. With an emphasis on vocal health and technique, my students practice a strong breath foundation as well as an understanding of the artistry in singing. My lessons can be modified and accommodated to meet the needs of all skill levels as well as age.
I believe there is a voice in everyone. No student should hide or cover their voice. Singing should feel natural, comfortable, and, most importantly, it should feel great!
I look forward to meeting you, and I cannot wait to help you become a better singer as well as a better musician!
