Starting at the ripe age of five, I received my musical training in the New York area during my grade school and high school years with the late Persian immigrant and concert pianist Adam Kapuscinski. While my formal training is classical, I played for many years in different bands in the Boston area - top 40 bands, show bands, function (wedding) bands, even a duo. Since moving to Portland in 1985, I have played solo recitals, weddings, Holiday parties and other functions. Recently decided to make myself available to intermediate and advanced students/pianists who want to "kick it up a notch" improve technique, better expression, increase confidence, etc. (No beginners, please) *** Studio Equipment *** Beautiful 6-foot Steinway L.
