Garner your knowledge of American government with a patriotic published author-and-teacher of kin!!!

From studying the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights from top to bottom, to interpreting the Declaration of Independence and Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address inside-out, to understanding the true significance of democracy through and through, grasping the basic principles of how American government operates is essential to realizing the backbone of American operations on the national federal level from behind closed doors and how decision making affects citizens in everyday life and society to follow. I can help you understand how bills and legislation are proposed, voted on, and ultimately approved (if they are so lucky). I will assist you in dissecting the three branches of government and the political positions that comprise each of them. I shall further your comprehension of how the members of the different chambers (attempt to) work together to bring America forward from the inside-out and how everybody therein (seemingly) tries to play their parts to perfection in order to make progress of any nature and stature. Upon thoroughly studying the electoral college and its Constitutional powers, I will elect to enhance your awareness of the importance of casting your ballots each and every election cycle no matter how old you are, what calendar year it is, what offices are up for (re-)election and which propositions are on the verge of passing or failing both on paper and ultimately at the hands of the government, or ultimately who and what you are voting for--as long as you vote. Upon learning about the ascension of certain individuals presiding over the federal government to the Presidency per their Constitutional appointments should the standing president and vice-president no longer be at the helm of all operations from the top down in the White House, the value of local government politicians therefore comes into play most eloquently and effectively accordingly. So put on your thinking caps, sharpen your pencils to punch your voter registration packet at the polls, and get ready for a ride on the wave of gaining further knowledge behind the wheelings and dealings constituting the brain, heart, and soul of what makes the United States of America the country that it chooses to be at the hands of the leaders taking charge of it all under the auspices of the politically active American citizens who vote them and their corresponding statutes into and out of office right and left cyclically.

    About Peter F.

I own a B.A. in Liberal Studies-Teacher Education and 17 years' experience teaching Kindergarten to collegiate as a: tutor (10 years), substitute teacher (8 years), lead teacher (11 years), teaching assistant (4 years), and full-time volunteer (1 year)--in public, independent private (co-ed, and single-sex for both genders), parochial, cooperative, immersion, and charter schools. I am an author of three nonfiction books published in 2012, 2015 and 2018. My second book examines children with special needs, compares the roots of various learning differences revealed in unique life scenarios analyzed over time, and emphasizes the importance of music in education. My third book provides insight on different types of schools in America, and is a memoir of my own years of schooling as a student and work as a teacher. As an educator, I enjoy showing students the beauty of the academic concepts they learn. I deliver my instruction through a call-and-response methodology. I ask students questions pertaining to the academic content at hand by relating what they are learning to elements of everyday life on the whole, and have them draw their own comparisons and realizations. I promote academic creativity by encouraging students to connect what they are learning to their own interests to make new discoveries as they take in knowledge through hands-on experience. Overall, I emphasize the importance of correlating elements of different academic core subjects to help widen the spectrum of knowledge and enhance student understanding of what they learn. PLEASE NOTE: I ONLY OFFER ONLINE TUTORING. ALSO, I WILL HELP GUIDE YOU THROUGH YOUR WORK, NOT DO IT FOR YOU. THANK YOU!

St. John Orthodox Academy of San Francisco

I provided lead instruction in- and created curricula for: 5th & 6th Grade Classical History, 7th & 8th Grade American History, 7th-10th Grade Modern World History, 11th Grade American History, and 12th Grade Civics & American Government-Economics. For all courses taught: I created, submitted electronically, and carried out lesson plans and activities on a regular basis. These included self-administered: quizzes, tests, essays, research projects, in-class debates, while utilizing educational media in the forms of music, movies, and interactive world maps for improving students' geographic awareness, in all of the above courses. I maintained daily electronic communication with students, parents, and colleagues. I issued final trimester and semester grades for all students in all courses based on completed projects, tests, classwork, and homework assignments (occasionally featuring student note taking for reading, and answering reading comprehension questions at the ends of different chapters in the courses' respective textbooks), all of which were entirely designed, assigned, and evaluated via individual student letter grades issued by me. I regularly posted homework assignments and letter grades online at the school’s network, Google Classroom, keeping parents and students informed of any updates pertaining thereto via consistent online updates throughout the process. And, I designed and evaluated final exams/projects for classes at the end of each Fall and Spring Semester for every school year taught.
