Welcome! I am a Certified Online Tutor, Educational Consultant, and Private School Teacher. I enjoy helping students with learning differences build confidence while learning new skills. My primary focus is tutoring students in Kindergarten through 6th grade in Mathematics, Reading, and Writing. I have a unique approach to help students learn concepts that public school teachers become exhausted trying to reteach. I love teaching 2nd grade through 5 grade Mathematics skills such as place value, comparing three-digit numbers, telling time, solving word problems, multiplication, division, area, perimeter, comparing decimals, division with remainders, evaluating expressions, multiplying and dividing fractions, and slope-intercept form. My favorite subject is literature. I love using Venn Diagrams, Graphic Organizers, and games to help with writing. Current parents appreciate my ability to help their child learn to read mostly blend sounds. I look forward to meeting your child and helping them become a scholar.
