I love teaching and spreading the joy of music, but it's all about the needs and goals of my students! I listen to them to understand how they learn best and what type of lesson will capture their interest. I graduated from Longwood University (Go Lancers!) with a Bachelor's of Music in Performance and a Minor in Business Administration. I performed with Longwood's Wind Symphony for four years, participated in the pit orchestra for one of Longwood's musicals, and gave two solo recitals. My primary instrument is clarinet and my secondary is piano. I've been playing piano for 9 years and teaching for three years with the Community Center for Music.
